Are you interested in an exciting off-season baseball opportunity - attending the Down Under Winter Classic (DUWC) on the Gold Coast in Australia? If so, we want to hear from you.
🏴☠️ A 5-day tournament
The DUWC is a 5 day baseball tournament held on Australia’s Gold Coast, and will run from 7 – 12 July.
Not only is it a beautiful location, but it's also a fun development experience for our baseballers.
Many of our club members and Wellington baseball friends have played in this tournament before, and it is a fantastic experience for players and their families!

🏴☠️ Planning ahead
The logistics surrounding a tournament like this will take some planning. That’s why we’re beginning now for a July tournament.
Pirates would love to send teams to compete in both 14U and 16U divisions. Right now we are simply seeking to understand how many players are interested. From there, we will decide as a club about sending our players across the ditch to compete.
